Q + A

Where is Athol Idaho?

Athol is a small town about 30 minutes north of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

What town should I stay in?

We recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible, as this is a popular summer destination. Coeur d’Alene (CDA) and Sandpoint are similar distances from the venue and offer the most amenities, including restaurants, bars, lakes, and parks. CDA has more options, while Sandpoint is quieter with fewer people. Bayview, just east of Athol, is a small lakeside town with cozy cabins overlooking the water. Hayden, 15 minutes south of the venue, features hotels, campgrounds, great golf, and a beautiful lake. For a more rural experience, Spirit Lake, Twin Lakes, and Rathdrum offer camping and lodging options close to the venue. Northern Idaho also has many campgrounds, and there are plenty of Airbnb and Vrbo options in the area. If you have further questions or recommendations let us know! We’d be happy to answer any specific questions y’all have.

What should I wear ?

We want everyone to feel comfortable, so please dress in whatever makes you feel your best. The bridesmaids will be wearing light blue dresses, and the groomsmen will be in black tuxedos.

What can we expect the weather to be ?

August is the hottest and driest month in Northern Idaho, with temperatures ranging from 75 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. The average temperature is typically around 80 degrees.

Transportation & Parking

We are coordinating with the Coeur d’Alene School District to arrange a shared ride system. We will be updating this once we have more information. On-site parking is available but limited to approximately 50 cars. We kindly encourage carpooling whenever possible to make the most of the available space.

Food and Drink

A full bar and food will be available. We’ll provide additional details as the date approaches.
